The hotel was just off the promenade by the lido, cable car or sea and the bus station to the city and airport bus thanks to its stunning and amazing location.

Extremely polite staff, particularly nice views of the sea, everything is really good. Its location is perfect & particularly good, just next door to Madeira and Funchal, the ocean-iconic, and car rental. The queen room is bright and nice styled. The services are terrific, including a nice pool. There is parking close to the hotel.

The value for money at Alto Lido was fantastic! The room was clean, well-designed, and had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. The location was great, not right on the waterfront but still central enough. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive.
Hotel breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

It was spotlessly clean and the staff were super friendly and extremely polite, beds were very comfy. I was here for 2 nights and ate at à la carte restaurant for breakfast.

The staff was outstandingly accommodating, the breakfast was varied, everything was very good! I was offered a room with nice views of the sea. The provided service was terrific. Its location a 10-15 minute walk from an outdoor mall was beautiful and wonderful.

The location was unbeatable and magnificent: shopping centres and a market were within walking distance. Sao Martinho district was worth staying in. What's more, it was close to a bus stop.

The restaurant was nice for breakfast, I tried warm dishes. The view of the huge rock in the ocean-iconic from the window was scenic. The staff was courteous at all levels. The location was amazing, the room was new-fashioned. Moreover, it was 3 km from Santa Catarina Park.
